Head teacher welcome

Welcome to the Winslow CE School website. I hope you have time to explore and that it gives you a flavour of our wonderful school, where we have a highly committed and professional staff dedicated to supporting and guiding your child’s development.

The Christian faith underpins all that we do; we strive to ensure that pupils at Winslow CE School are happy and confident individuals who demonstrate the school’s core Christian values of kindness, forgiveness, honesty, respect and a love to learn.

We aim to provide your child with the experiences, knowledge and academic skills to inspire them to become successful life-long learners.   We want our children to be the best they can be and this is underpinned by our vision, ‘Let your light shine’ which is clearly rooted in the Beatitudes where Jesus teaches his disciples and says: ‘In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.’ (Matthew 5:16)

The happiness, well-being and success of every child are of utmost importance to us and it is only through a supportive partnership between child, home and school that we can achieve this. We hope to work together to help your child become the very best they can be.

We are very proud of our school, our pupils and their successes. If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit our fabulous school, or would like to know more, please do contact us.

I look forward to working with you and your children.

Mrs Samantha Dimbleby

At Winslow Church of England School, the rainbow logo is an expression of God’s promise to us, and also an image of how each one of us reflects that love as we let our light shine, showing care and respect to everyone.

Our desire is to build a meaningful sense of community within the school, but also to help the children look outwards, to understand and appreciate their place in a richly diverse world.

School should be a place of exciting discovery and opportunity, where all children flourish, are nurtured and inspired in their learning journey. All of us: staff, parents, carers, and governors, can make a real difference to the lives of the children at Winslow Church of England School as we work together to achieve outstanding outcomes for all.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school.
