Before and After school clubs

Kidz Zone Clubs from September 2020

The government have required schools to welcome back all pupils in September 2020, using staggered starts and finishes to ensure that there is as little mixing of bubbles as possible.  A number of parents have expressed concern over pick up and drop off. Some find themselves dropping off and picking up siblings at different times, or have discovered their child’s school day now starts and finishes much earlier than previously. 

In order to support our parents in this difficult new normal, we are therefore putting in place a drop off and pick up club operating in the hall, that will be staffed by TFG (our sports provider).  This will start at 7.30 am and run til 8.30 am so parents can opt for a 1/2 hour or full hour session.  Similarly there will be a pick up club after school from 3 – 3.30 pm and then extending into the TFG after school club as it ran previously from 3.30 – 4.30 pm. ​TFG have been instructed by us to keep children from different year groups socially distanced in both clubs by providing separate areas/ tables for each year group with suitable distances between groups.

Teacher-led after school clubs

Each term we offer after school clubs run by the school. These include such activities as: Cake Decorating, Forest school, Dance, Tag Rugby, Rounders, Lego Club, Drawing / Sketching, Yoga/Mindfulness, Messy Craft Play, Outside Games & Adventure

The clubs usually run for 6 weeks and we make a charge of £6 to cover expenses. After school clubs will start at 3.15pm and end at 4.15pm. Please collect your child promptly at the end of the session
