Pupil premium / Catch-up Funding

Winslow Church of England School receives a Pupil Premium Grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or who has been entitled to over the last 6 years; and for any Looked After Children or Service Children.

Children who are entitled to a pupil premium grant receive additional support either through their learning, social opportunities or additional resources.

Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). Those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds will be among those hardest hit. The government have allocated mainstream schools £80 per pupil to help them catch up for lost teaching over the previous months. Schools can use their funding in a way that suits their cohort and circumstances. Please see our Covid Catch-up Premium Plan for further details
